The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Legal Counsel to join a growing organisation operating within the energy and infrastructure developer
This is a broad, hands-on role with a strong emphasis on property and land matters, supporting a large and evolving portfolio of property projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice across the full lifecycle of property matters.
The role offers excellent exposure to complex, multi-site projects, including emerging infrastructure and data-led developments.
Key Responsibilities
*Supporting the full lifecycle of property matters.
*Negotiating and advising on a range of development agreements, including:
*Managing title due diligence, including reviewing titles, identifying issues, and advising on risk and mitigation strategies
*Preparing and reviewing Certificates of Title to support financing and investment processes
*Handling a broad range of Land Registry matters, including registrations, title queries, and rectifications
*Advising on key development risks such as restrictive covenants, overage, rights of light, and third-party interests
*Supporting multi-site portfolio management, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects
*Working closely with development and commercial teams on land strategy, access rights, and site optimisation
*Supporting the property aspects of corporate transactions, including disposals, refinancing, and portfolio sales
*Managing and coordinating external counsel, particularly on complex or volume-heavy transactions
About You
*Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with
*Strong grounding in commercial property law, ideally from a reputable private practice firm or In-House legal background.
*Exposure to high-volume or portfolio-based property matters
*Understanding of how property work integrates into wider corporate transactions
*Commercially minded, proactive, and able to deliver practical, solutions-focused advice
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with close stakeholder interaction
