Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of a leading international manufacturer based in Lancashire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing business and play a key role in new product introduction, process improvement, capital equipment projects and manufacturing optimisation.
Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer:*Lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews for new products
*Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing industrialisation activities
*Manage capital investment and equipment improvement projects from concept through to implementation
*Conduct manufacturing risk assessments and PFMEA activities
*Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency and productivity
*Analyse manufacturing data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
*Investigate production issues and lead root cause analysis activities
*Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures
*Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
*Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and production teams
To be a successful applicant, we are looking for:
*Previous experience within a Manufacturing Engineering position
*Experience working within an assembly or manufacturing environment
*Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
*Experience of process validation, risk assessments and PFMEA
*Proven experience delivering engineering or operational improvement projects
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
*CAD experience, ideally Autodesk Inventor
*Engineering qualification through degree or equivalent industry experience
