About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Automated Gate Engineer to join a well-established and growing business operating across Glasgow and the West of Scotland. This is a permanent, field-based position offering long-term stability and consistent work.
In this role, you will be responsible for attending customer sites independently, carrying out the maintenance, servicing and fault-finding of automated gates, barriers, and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities
*Service, maintain, and repair automated gates
*Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on-site
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
*Work independently across multiple sites
*Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
*Provide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience working with automated gates or similar systems
*Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
*Ability to work independently in a field-based role
*Full UK driving licence
*Good communication and problem-solving skills
*Knowledge of access control systems
