Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with experience supporting children with additional needs? We are currently recruiting Complex Needs Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in the Bradford and Kirklees areas.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.
The Role
You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
*Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
*Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties
*Physical disabilities
*Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Your responsibilities will include:
*Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
*Assisting with personal care where required
*Promoting independence, communication, and engagement
*Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
*Working closely with teaching staff and therapists to deliver individualised learning plans
Requirements
*Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (essential)
*A patient, caring, and resilient approach
*Confidence supporting with personal care
*Moving and handling training (highly desirable)
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous but not essential
