The RoleAs a Psychology Graduate, you’ll work closely with pupils who require additional emotional, behavioural, and social support. You’ll play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis.
*Building positive relationships with pupils who have SEMH needs.
*Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
*Encouraging emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
*Helping create a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.
*Working alongside teachers, SEN professionals, and pastoral staff to support individual learning plans.
About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
*A degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject).
*A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
*Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
*An interest in pursuing a career in education, psychology, or mental health.
