The Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Turner to join a busy engineering team in Nottingham. We are interested in candidates with experience as:
*CNC Turner
*Manual Turner
*CNC Turner Programmer


The role involves producing high-quality precision engineered components while working to technical drawings and specifications within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities include:
*Setting and operating CNC turning machinery
*Operating manual turning machinery where applicable
*Producing components to engineering drawings and specifications
*Editing and adjusting programmes to improve machining efficiency and accuracy
*Carrying out routine machine maintenance and inspections
*Loading materials and managing tooling requirements safely
*Conducting quality inspections using measuring equipment and hand tools
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
About You
*Proven experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
*Experience as a CNC Turner or Manual Turner
*Experience using Prototrak, Siemens, Fanuc or Winmax controls
*Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures and machining processes
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
*Competent using measuring equipment and hand tools
*Good understanding of materials and tooling selection
*Strong attention to detail and quality standards
