The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Scrub Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join a well-established private hospital in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a skilled theatre team, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures in a modern and well-equipped environment.
You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring the smooth running of theatre lists.
Key Responsibilities *Prepare operating theatres for a range of surgical procedures
*Work as a scrub practitioner across various specialities
*Assist surgeons and the wider theatre team during procedures
*Maintain sterile technique and ensure infection control standards are met
*Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are correctly handled and accounted for
*Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative pathway
Requirements *NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered ODP
*Previous experience working in a scrub role
*Exposure to a range of surgical specialities (desirable)
*Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and theatre practice
*Excellent teamwork and communication skills
*Flexible and adaptable approach to work
