Full job descriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gifts in Wills & Supporter Care Assistant to join a well-established and respected national charity based in London. This role sits within a collaborative Individual Giving team and plays a key part in supporting legacy fundraising activity, which represents one of the organisation’s largest income streams, while also delivering high-quality supporter care.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as a key point of contact for supporters, responding to queries via phone, email, and at events, ensuring all interactions are accurately recorded on the CRM system
*Support the delivery of the Gifts in Wills fundraising programme, assisting with supporter stewardship and engagement activity
*Process donations and supporter income, including batching, reconciliation and liaising with finance colleagues as required
*Administer Gift Aid processes, legacy administration, and associated documentation with a high level of accuracy
*Maintain and update supporter records and reporting documents, ensuring data accuracy and compliance at all times
*Assist with data checks, proof reading, and the preparation of supporter communications, including newsletters and campaign materials
*Support the use of marketing and communication platforms (e.g. email tools) to deliver supporter journeys and stewardship activity
*Collaborate with internal teams and regional colleagues, including attending events to support promotion of legacy giving where required
*Provide general administrative support across the Individual Giving and Supporter Care function, including maintaining records and filing systems
Ideal Candidate Profile
*Experience working in an office or administrative environment
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
*Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy when handling data and financial information
*Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
*Comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and databases/CRM systems
*Professional and discreet, with the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and confidentiality
*A proactive and collaborative team player with a positive and supportive approach
*An interest in fundraising or the charity sector, with a willingness to learn about legacy giving
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £33,000 per annum
