RoleRole & ResponsibilitiesAs a Study Skills Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students with SPLDs. You will design and deliver individualised learning plans, guiding students toward effective study strategies.
Main tasks include*Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
*Guide students in effective study strategies and techniques.
*Assess student progress regularly and adapt learning plans accordingly.
*Collaborate effectively with Randstad to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
*Utilise online teaching technologies to enhance the learning experience
*Create engaging and personalised learning materials.
Requirements*Proven experience working with students with SPLD’s
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proficiency in utilising online teaching technologies.
*Ability to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
*Experience with creating personalised learning materials.
*Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
*Strong organisational and time-management skills.
*A passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.


Qualifications/Memberships
Must possess any one of the memberships from the following:
PATOSS (The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS):
*Full - Specialist teacher/assessor qualified.
*Associate membership - Specialist teacher qualified.
British Dyslexia Association (BDA):
*AMBDA - Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association
*AMBDA FE/HE - Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association Further and Higher Education
*Professional Membership
The Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE):
*Professional QA Tutor membership
*NOTE: Affiliate Membership and Professional Assessor Membership of ADSHE does not confer eligibility to deliver this role.
