As Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, working closely with Partners and junior team members to deliver high-quality work to a diverse client base. You will take ownership of client relationships, ensure assignments are completed to the highest technical standards, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the audit department. Key Responsibilities*Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered on time and to the highest standards
*Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
*Supervise, coach, and mentor junior members of the audit team, supporting their development and technical growth
*Review audit files and working papers, providing constructive feedback and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
*Contribute to business development activity and assist in identifying opportunities to grow the firm’s client base
Requirements*ACA or ACCA qualified, or working towards final stages of qualification
*Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Strong technical knowledge of audit processes, accounting standards, and financial reporting
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships confidently at all levels
*Motivated, organised, and commercially aware, with a genuine desire to progress within a practice environment
