In this Mixed Tax Manager position, you will take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing both personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory work to a high standard. You will be instrumental in developing and mentoring junior members of the team, building and sustaining strong client relationships, and working closely with the firm’s partners on more complex tax planning matters. Bromsgrove is a well-connected location with excellent transport links across the West Midlands, and the firm is well positioned to offer real career progression within a collegiate and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities*Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, overseeing compliance and delivering tailored advisory services
*Leading, supervising, and mentoring junior tax staff to support their professional development
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact for tax queries
*Collaborating with partners on complex tax planning projects and contributing to the wider growth of the tax team
*Reviewing and signing off tax returns, computations, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements*Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with demonstrable mixed tax experience at a senior level
*Strong technical knowledge across both personal and corporate tax, with the ability to manage a varied client portfolio
*Proven ability to lead and develop junior staff within a practice setting
*Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
