Inspire Young Learners in a Supportive School CommunityA friendly and successful primary school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join its Key Stage 1 team from September 2026. Working every Thursday and Friday, this role offers an excellent opportunity to achieve a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in the classroom.
The successful candidate will work closely with the existing class teacher to deliver a seamless learning experience, ensuring pupils continue to thrive both academically and socially.

Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Year 2 teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence.
*Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
*Support children as they develop core literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
*Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
*Contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively with the Key Stage 1 team.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
*Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
*A nurturing and positive teaching style.
*High expectations of behaviour, learning, and pupil progress.
*A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.
