Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare and Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible daily supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Wandsworth and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified early years professionals seeking flexible work while gaining experience across a variety of nursery settings. Whether you’re looking for full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we have opportunities to suit your availability.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and thrive in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or an equivalent qualification (essential).
*Previous experience working within nursery or EYFS settings.
*A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
*A caring, positive, and flexible approach to supporting young children.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:*Supporting children’s learning and development through engaging, play-based activities.
*Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play.
*Promoting children’s social, emotional, and communication development.
*Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment.
*Working collaboratively with nursery staff to provide high-quality care and education for all children.
