Full job descriptionAre you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk available immediately and looking to join a fantastic company?
We’re working with a fantastic business looking for an organised and detail-oriented finance professional to join their team on an initial 2 month contract, with the potential for an extension based on workload, performance, and upcoming projects.
This is a busy, varied role where you’ll play a key part in supporting the finance function, ensuring supplier accounts are managed accurately and payments are processed efficiently.
The Role
As part of the finance team, your responsibilities will include:
*Managing supplier accounts and maintaining accurate account information.
*Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
*Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and account queries.
*Preparing payment runs for approval.
*Posting and allocating cash receipts and payments.
*Reconciling supplier accounts and ensuring records remain up to date.
*Liaising with both internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries promptly.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
*Has previous Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience.
*Confident processing invoices in a fast-paced environment.
*Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
*Enjoys resolving queries and building positive relationships with suppliers.
*Comfortable preparing payment runs and posting cash.
*Can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
*Is available to start at short notice.
