Are you looking to start a career in the print industry? Do you enjoy practical, hands-on work as much as working with computers?
We’re recruiting for a Junior Print Operator to join a market-leading print and graphics business in Irlam. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and receive full training on some of the largest and most advanced print machinery in the UK.
No previous print experience is required - we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
The RoleAs a Junior Print Operator, you’ll become part of a busy production team and receive full training across all aspects of the print process.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Assisting with the operation of large-format print and graphics machinery
*Preparing artwork and print files using specialist software
*Supporting the production process from start to finish
*Loading materials and assisting with print finishing
*Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets customer specifications
*Learning new machinery, processes and production techniques
What We’re Looking For*Computer literate and confident using digital systems
*Enjoys hands-on, practical work in a production environment
*Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
*Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
*Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Working HoursThis role operates on a weekly rotating shift pattern:
*6:00am - 2:00pm
*2:00pm - 10:00pm
Flexibility to work both shifts is essential.
