Overview
Reed Insurance London are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee / Junior Broker to join our clients growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a basic understanding of insurance who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
The role will focus on new business generation, working from high-quality leads provided by our marketing team. You will be responsible for converting these opportunities into new clients while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage and convert inbound leads generated by the marketing team into new business
*Engage with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and provide suitable solutions
*Prepare and present competitive insurance quotations
*Build strong relationships with clients to ensure a positive customer journey
*Work towards and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs
*Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions
*Liaise with insurers and underwriters to secure the best terms for clients
*Ensure all activities are compliant with regulatory requirements
Skills & Experience
*Basic knowledge or experience within the insurance industry (essential)
*Experience in a sales or customer-facing role (preferred)
*Familiarity with Acturis or similar systems (beneficial)
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Results-driven with a proactive and positive attitude
*Excellent organisation and attention to detail
*Willingness to learn and develop within the role
