A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Reading is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026.
About the Role
*Teach Geography across KS3–KS5 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
*Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity about the world
*Contribute to a supportive and collaborative Humanities faculty
*Encourage students to develop critical thinking, environmental awareness, and global understanding
*Participate fully in the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
*Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
*Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
*ECTs are encouraged to apply
