Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting caring, reliable and compassionate Children’s Support Workers for temporary and ongoing assignments across Dorset.
You will support children and young people in residential, community or supported living settings, helping to provide a safe, positive and nurturing environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young people.

*Supporting with activities, appointments and community access
*Following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
*Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns
*Working closely with permanent staff and other professionals
*Promoting a safe, respectful and supportive environment

About YouWe are looking for candidates who are:

*Able to remain calm in challenging situations
*Flexible and available for a range of shifts
*Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Previous experience in care, support work, education or working with children and young people is desirable. Candidates with relevant transferable skills may also be considered.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred but not essential.
Assignments may include day shifts, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts, depending on the service.
Before starting assignments, candidates will need to complete the agency registration and compliance process, including an enhanced DBS check, references and proof of right to work in the UK.
