A fast-growing supplier of electrical components, systems and ancillary items to a prestigious portfolio of OEMs, panel builders, industrial automation businesses and specialist engineering customers.
Keen to appoint an experienced purchasing professional to join their senior leadership team, to reimagine and restructure their purchasing function, its systems, processes and procedures, introducing "best practice", whilst developing and leading a small team.
The role:
Working as part of the senior leadership team, you will have responsibility for Procurement & Supplier Management, Inventory Optimisation & Forecasting, Commercial & Operational Leadership.
You:
*Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Senior Buyer, or Procurement Lead within a similar technical environment.
*Skilled in negotiation, people and supplier management.
*Comfortable with ERP/MRP systems
