A well-established wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join its professional, supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in the administrative side of financial planning, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to remain in a long-term, senior administrative career within a stable and respected firm.
About the RoleAs a Senior IFA Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting advisers and paraplanners, ensuring the smooth running of client processes and maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy, compliance, and client service. You’ll act as a senior member of the admin team, confidently managing complex cases and contributing to a high-performing workflow.
The firm has a strong office-based culture, with hybrid working available after a successful probation period.
Key Responsibilities*Manage new business processing, valuations, and complex client documentation.
*Maintain accurate client records and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
*Liaise with clients, providers, and internal teams to support the full advice process.
*Prepare meeting packs, illustrations, policy information, and technical documentation.
*Support advisers and paraplanners with day-to-day and senior-level administrative tasks.
*Work efficiently within a busy team environment, contributing to smooth workflow and high service standards.
*Take ownership of more complex cases and act as a senior point of support within the admin function.
Experience & Skills Required*Previous experience as an IFA Administrator or within a financial planning environment (senior-level preferred).
*Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and financial planning processes.
*Confident using industry systems such as Intelligent Office, Dynamic Planner, Iress Exchange, and paperless tools (e.g., Watermark/Papercloud).
*Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities.
*Strong communication skills and a proactive, dependable approach.
*Comfortable working full-time in the office, with hybrid flexibility after probation.
*Ability to handle complex cases and support junior team members when required.
Salary & Benefits*Up to £38,000, depending on experience.
*Opportunity to work from home one day per week after a 6-month probation period.
*Supportive team environment with experienced administrators and paraplanners.
