Full job descriptionRight Now Group are recruiting for an experienced Freight Pricing Executive on behalf of a well-established and growing freight forwarding business based in Egham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pricing professional with freight forwarding experience to join a busy commercial team, taking responsibility for producing competitive multimodal quotations across air, road, and sea freight. Working closely with airlines, carriers, overseas agents, handling agents, and customers, you’ll play a key role in supporting business growth by delivering accurate, commercially competitive pricing solutions.
Key Responsibilities of the Freight Pricing Executive*Prepare and issue competitive freight quotations for air, road, and sea freight shipments
*Maintain and update pricing databases, tariffs, carrier rates, and customer pricing records
*Analyse freight costs and build commercially viable pricing solutions to maximise profitability
*Liaise daily with airlines, shipping lines, carriers, handling agents, overseas partners, and customers
*Prepare and maintain all pricing-related documentation and quotation records
*Support the commercial and operations teams with pricing enquiries and tender requests
*Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the most competitive rates
*Gain exposure to import operations and develop a broader understanding of freight forwarding processes
Skills & Experience Required of the Freight Pricing Executive*Previous experience working within a freight forwarding pricing role is essential
*Experience preparing quotations for air, road, sea, or multimodal freight movements
*Strong commercial awareness with excellent numerical and analytical skills
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers
*High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotations simultaneously
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems
Salary & Benefits for the Freight Pricing Executive*Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
*Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation
*Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
