£40,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a successful and growing SME on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Candidates seeking either 4 or 5 days per week will be considered.
This is a busy, demanding opportunity that would suit a hands-on Finance Manager or Company Accountant who enjoys working in a varied role with ownership across the day-to-day finance function.
The responsibilities:
*Oversee the day-to-day finance operations and ensure smooth running of the function
*Produce accurate financial reports and provide insight to support business decisions
*Prepare quarterly management accounts and supporting analysis
*Manage cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and reporting
*Maintain robust financial controls
*Liaise with external auditors and support the year-end audit process
*Work closely with senior leadership to provide commercial financial support
*Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and add value across the business
The candidate:
*Experienced Finance Manager with a strong hands-on SME background
*Confident managing a broad finance function with minimal supervision
*Strong understanding of management accounts, reporting, and cash flow
*Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
