Full job descriptionWe’ve got an excellent role for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our client to cover a portfolio of commercial sites based in Hertfordshire! As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be charged with overseeing a portfolio of commercial sites, manage client expectations and taking initiative.
For this Mobile Maintenance Engineer position, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshoot / fault find, diagnose faults, carry out compliance related tasks, manage logbooks and contractors and ensure the clients are satisfied with the service.
Mobile Maintenance Engineer Duties:
*Carry out PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance.
*Work on motors, generators (on/off load testing), shutdowns, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, sprinkler systems, pumps, belts, bearings, seals, and water treatment systems.
*Operate and have an understanding of BMS systems.
*Safely isolate plant and equipment in line with site and statutory safety procedures.
*Ensure all corrective and repair works comply with current regulations and standards.
*Promote safe working practices and high-quality workmanship.
*Coordinate and supervise subcontractors where required.
*Complete logbooks, RAMS, reports, and permits to work.
*Raise and close jobs using PDA systems.
Mobile Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
*Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
*Minimum of 3 years’ experience within commercial building maintenance.
*Strong communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach.
*Apprentice-trained background (desirable).
*Full UK driving licence.
Salary and Package:
*£40,000 - £42,000 per annum
*Van, fuel card, PPE and tools provided
*Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
*25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
*Covering Hertfordshire only
*Overtime available
*Internal progression
