We are working with a well-established distributor of packaging consumables that provides a complete packaging solution to each one of its clients.
Title: Sales Coordinator
Role and Responsibilities:
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to be an integral part of a sales team providing back-office support (including providing quotes and placing orders) to enable a field sales packaging specialist to spend their time actively selling, as well as account management to generate new sales orders.
Keys responsibilities include, but not limited to:
*Support to allocated Packaging Specialist/s (Field sales)
*Generate quotes
*Process orders
*Liaise with Warehouse to check order on course and inform customers of any potential delays/problems escalating to packaging specialist when appropriate
*Deal with customer enquiries
*Escalate issues to packaging specialist as and when required
Account Management/Sales
Provide account management for allocated customers including:
*Be main point of call for all enquiries
*Manage stock levels for call off stock
*Deal with any queries/complaints escalating when appropriate
*Proactively target new and inactive customers with the aim of gaining sales/regular custom
*Actively cross-sell and up-sell products to existing customers
General Admin
*Answer incoming calls and relocate them to the appropriate person if necessary
*Respond to emails that come into general sales email address
*File quotes and orders
Qualifications and knowledge:
*Worked in a similar internal sales role
*Worked for Wholesaler/Merchant preferable but not essential
*Excellent customer service skills
*Good planning and organisation skills
*Strong IT skills including using email, word, Business Central (or similar customer order system)
*Sales skills
Salary & Benefits:
*£26,765.00, rising to £28,394.89
*25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
