Job Description:
Full job descriptionReed Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in the Caerphilly area for an experienced Painter / Industrial Paint Sprayer to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive manufacturing environment, undertaking a variety of painting and production-related duties.
Working Hours
Next Week’s Shift Pattern:
*Monday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
*Tuesday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
*Wednesday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
*Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
*Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
Key Responsibilities
*Mixing and applying paints, primers and clear coats to required specifications
*Preparing surfaces and components for painting
*Masking products and materials prior to paint application
*Maintaining paint booths, equipment and work areas
*Loading and unloading paint jigs, frames and production materials
*Supporting general manufacturing and production activities
*Maintaining stock levels and associated records
*Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements
*Previous experience in an industrial painting, spray painting or manufacturing environment
*Knowledge of paint preparation and application techniques
*Ability to work accurately and maintain high quality standards
*Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
*A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence would be highly advantageous
*Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
