Salary: £41,000 – £42,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established and growing precision engineering company based in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking manufacturer offering stability and long-term career prospects.
The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and ideally programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
*Setting and operating CNC turning machines
*Editing programs at the machine (Fanuc/Siemens experience beneficial)
*Producing precision-machined components to engineering drawings
*Conducting quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
*Ensuring high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
*Working to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
Requirements
*Proven experience as a CNC Turner
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Experience with Fanuc or similar controls
*Strong attention to detail and quality standards
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
