Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based role with an excellent work-life balance? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer that is investing in its people, equipment and production facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business with a strong order book and a supportive engineering team.
The Role
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
*Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
*Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, with basic electrical fault-finding where required.
*Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, motors, chains, belts, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
*Strip, repair and rebuild mechanical assemblies.
*Read and work from engineering drawings.
*Support machinery improvements and reliability projects.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
*Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
*Basic electrical maintenance experience.
*Experience working with industrial manufacturing machinery.
*A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What’s on Offer
*Salary of £45,000-£48,000.
*Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
*1 in 4 Saturdays (6-hour shift) with time off in lieu the following week.
