Full job descriptionOne of the UK’s leading industrial electrical wholesalers is looking for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join its successful Gateshead branch. This is a fantastic opportunity to build strong customer relationships, develop your commercial skills and progress your career with a market-leading business.
You’ll be joining a well-established group employing over 4,000 people across hundreds of UK locations, with an annual turnover of more than £1.7 billion. The Role
As an Internal Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting existing customers while helping to grow the branch’s sales. You will:
*Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
*Deliver outstanding customer service over the phone, by email and on the trade counter
*Advise customers on the best products and solutions for their requirements
*Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up on enquiries
*Represent the business in a professional and confident manner

Requirements
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships and providing excellent customer service. You’ll ideally have:
*Sales experience within industrial electrical wholesale, or a background in industrial or electrical products with a strong commercial mindset
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*A proactive approach and confident telephone manner
*The ability to learn quickly and thrive in a busy environment
