We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting students and teachers in a dynamic educational environment. The position involves working Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 15:30, perfect for those looking for a role during school hours.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the preparation and setting up of activities for daily lessons.
*Support individual students and small groups under the direction of the teacher.
*Help manage classroom resources and ensure they are available and in good condition.
*Assist in monitoring students’ progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the teacher.
*Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised learning environment.
*Participate in school meetings and training sessions as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*A patient and supportive approach to student learning.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
