The Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established and successful manufacturing business in Dudley to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a key, hands-on role within a close-knit finance team, offering real visibility across the organisation and the chance to influence operational and financial performance.
You’ll play a pivotal part in delivering accurate financial information, supporting decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across both finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including commentary and insights
*Lead on budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with key stakeholders
*Deliver variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
*Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring strong financial control
*Partner with operational teams to support costing, stock management, and margin analysis
*Assist with year-end processes, including audit and statutory reporting requirements
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
About You
*Part-qualified, qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBE with strong management accounting experience
*Background in manufacturing or a similar environment (highly desirable)
*Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
*Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
*A proactive team player, comfortable working independently and collaborating across departments
