The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak and are seeking a part De-Burrer/FLT Driver.
Job Description
*Removing burr’s & sharp edges form machined metal parts.
*Operating a forklift truck to deliver parts etc.
*Carry out some basic transactional work on PC’s.
*Work within a team of production operatives.
*Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria
*Have a solid understanding "what good looks like".
*Can demonstrate a self-motivated attitude & can-do attitude.
*Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
*Have prior experience of using forklift trucks & removing sharp edges with hand tools.
The role will be on day shifts.
