Our client, a successful and forward-thinking organisation, is currently seeking an Finance Assistant to join their accounts team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Finance Assistant, you will play a key role within the finance team, supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the accounts payable function. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate supplier records, supporting financial processes, and building strong relationships across the business while contributing to the wider success of the finance function.

The responsibilities:
*Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
*Manage invoice approvals and ensure transactions are correctly authorised
*Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
*Support payment processing and ensure suppliers are paid within agreed terms
*Maintain accurate supplier records and update finance systems as required
*Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end finance activities
*Respond to internal and external queries professionally and effectively
*Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and process improvements
The candidate:
*Previous experience within accounts payable or a similar finance role
*Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
*Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team
*Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and finance systems experience
