We are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a leading manufacturing business in Northamptonshire as they look to appoint an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing finance team.

This is a commercially focused role that will see you partnering closely with operational and senior leadership teams, providing financial insight, challenge and support to ensure strategic objectives are achieved whilst maintaining compliance with internal financial governance and external regulatory requirements.

Working within a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, business partnering and driving commercial decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
*Partner with operational and senior leadership teams to provide financial guidance, challenge and commercial support across the business.
*Lead month-end reporting processes, delivering detailed variance analysis, forecasts and commentary on financial performance, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
*Support the preparation and submission of regulatory and statutory financial reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
*Build strong relationships with budget holders, challenging spending decisions and supporting the effective allocation of financial resources.
*Work closely with the wider finance team to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved financial performance.
*Ensure financial data integrity across reporting systems, maintaining accurate reconciliations and supporting robust financial controls.
*Develop and maintain financial models and scenario planning to support strategic business decisions and respond to changing commercial requirements.
*Deliver financial guidance and training to non-finance stakeholders, promoting strong financial awareness and best practice across the business.
*Collaborate with FP&A and Financial Control teams to improve reporting processes and enhance the quality of financial information.
*Influence and support senior stakeholders by providing meaningful financial analysis and commercially focused recommendations.
The Ideal Candidate:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience with significant relevant commercial finance experience.
*Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role within a fast-paced manufacturing, engineering or regulated environment.
*Strong understanding of financial governance, compliance and financial reporting.
*Experience producing forecasts, variance analysis and financial modelling to support business decision-making.
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical capability.
*Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
*Commercially minded with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Able to prioritise effectively and perform under pressure within a dynamic business environment.
*Collaborative, proactive and committed to driving continuous improvement.
