We are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a leading manufacturing business in Northamptonshire as they look to appoint an experienced FP&A Manager to join their growing FP&A function.

This is a key position within a high-performing finance team, taking ownership of the budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes across the business.

Working closely with senior leadership and operational stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in providing robust financial insight that supports strategic decision-making, drives performance and ensures the business achieves its long-term objectives.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a commercially minded qualified accountant with strong financial modelling skills, who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and is passionate about improving financial processes through automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the annual budgeting process and in-year forecasting cycles, ensuring deadlines, assumptions and deliverables are effectively managed across the business.
*Consolidate financial information from multiple stakeholders, challenging submissions where appropriate to deliver robust and reliable forecasts.
*Develop and maintain long-term financial models, including five-year forecasts covering P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
*Provide meaningful financial analysis, identifying risks, opportunities and key business trends to support strategic planning.
*Work closely with the wider finance team to improve the accuracy and quality of cash flow forecasting.
*Support senior leadership by preparing and presenting budget and forecast information to aid commercial decision-making.
*Analyse and explain variances against budget and forecast, providing clear commentary and actionable insight.
*Continuously review and improve budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes to enhance efficiency and forecasting accuracy.
*Drive automation across FP&A processes, identifying opportunities to reduce manual intervention through improved systems, reporting tools and technology.
*Collaborate with finance transformation initiatives to improve reporting consistency and develop a single source of financial truth across the organisation.
*Produce scenario modelling and financial analysis to support key strategic projects and business decisions.
*Provide ad hoc financial modelling, reporting and analysis as required by senior stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience.
*Previous experience within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting or commercial finance.
*Strong experience producing long-term financial models and strategic financial plans.
*Excellent financial modelling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
*Experience working within a complex, fast-paced or multi-entity organisation.
*Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
*Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
*Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.
*Experience of financial systems, reporting automation or business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
