Description
*Lead the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s overall goals
*Lead on a major ERP transformation and corporate restructure
*Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
*Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
*Monitor and enhance financial controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
*Analyse financial performance and present recommendations to the executive team.
*Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
*Support key investment decisions and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Profile
A successful Finance Director should have:
*A professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven expertise in finance management.
*Experience in a leadership role, ideally within the transport, logistics or property sector
*Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
*Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
*The ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
*Proven experience in driving financial performance and supporting business growth.
