The RoleWe are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to take ownership of a key London & East London territory. This is a field-based, customer-facing sales role focused on winning new business and growing existing accounts across a well-established product range within the construction and industrial sector.
You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with contractors, merchants, distributors, and end users, identifying project opportunities and converting them into profitable sales.
This is a highly autonomous role where success is driven by your ability to build relationships, manage your territory effectively, and close business consistently.
Key Responsibilities*Identify and win new business across London & East London
*Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers
*Build strong relationships with contractors, merchants, and distributors
*Deliver product presentations and on-site demonstrations
*Follow up project leads and convert opportunities into sales
*Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing
*Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline reporting
*Represent the business at client meetings and site visits
About YouWe are looking for someone who is:
*Proven in a B2B sales or business development role
*Confident in a field-based, autonomous environment
*Strong at relationship building and closing deals
*Ideally experienced in construction, industrial, or technical sales (not essential)
*Highly motivated and target driven
*Organised with strong territory management skills
*Holds a full UK driving licence (essential)
