We’re currently looking for a School Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective administrative, reception, and support services that are essential for the smooth operation of the schools.
Part of the Aurora Group, Aurora White House School in Quidenham, Norwich provides day placements for students aged 5 to 16 years primarily with communication and interaction difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Some may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties and difficulties that create barriers to learning.

Key Duties:
*Welcome all visitors, ensuring safeguarding and correct sign-in/out procedures.
*Answer and log all incoming calls, redirecting or taking messages as appropriate.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the Management Information System and other analogue and digital systems.
*Support with the collation and editing of reports, chasing missing data, and meeting deadlines.
*Prepare for and support meetings and events, to include administrative support, refreshments and resource creation.
*Make calls and gather information to support the day-to-day running of the business.

Knowledge, skills and experience:
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
*Good level of literacy and numeracy (minimum GCSEs above 4/C, to include English and Maths, or equivalent).
*Demonstrable experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school or care environment.
*Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and ability to use databases.
*Organised, with good time management and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks with good task switching skills.
*High levels of interpersonal ability; able to work as part of a team and independently.
*Discreet, confidential, and reliable.
*Ability to remain calm and cope with unexpected situations.
Due to the location of the school, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
