Full job descriptionSEN Primary Outreach Tutor (Bromley)
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 learning programmes to pupils in Bromley who are currently out of school. These learners often have significant gaps in their education, low confidence, and additional needs requiring a patient, structured, and engaging approach.
Your role will involve planning and delivering tailored lessons that rebuild routine, re-establish trust in learning, and support academic progress. You will work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor pupil development and ensure each programme is effective, consistent, and supportive.
Contract & Position Details
*Location - Various locations across Bromley
*Position - SEN Primary Outreach Tutor
*Type of work - Contract
*Start date - ASAP
*Duration - Dependent on individual pupil needs
*Contract type - Temporary
*Hours - Flexible; sessions typically 1-3 hours
*Full-time/Part-time - Both available depending on your availability
*Minimum pay - £25 per hour
*Learners - Primary-aged pupils with SEN, often out of education
Experience, Training & Qualifications
*QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (preferred)
*Minimum 6 months’ experience in a UK school
*Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (desirable but not essential)
Eligibility Requirements
To work through Prospero Teaching, you must:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
