They’re looking to appoint an ambitious Senior Manager who enjoys building lasting client relationships, leading teams and making a genuine commercial impact.
This is a visible role within the business where you’ll work closely with Partners, influence the development of your team and play an active part in the firm’s continued growth. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical expertise with leadership and advisory responsibilities, while benefiting from a clear pathway towards Director.
The OpportunityYou’ll manage a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses, acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior stakeholders. Rather than simply overseeing compliance work, you’ll be involved in helping clients make informed commercial decisions while supporting the continued development of your team.
You’ll have regular access to Partners, giving you the opportunity to contribute ideas, broaden your commercial knowledge and continue developing your own leadership style.
What You’ll Be Doing*Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a variety of sectors.
*Acting as the main point of contact and trusted adviser for your clients.
*Reviewing statutory accounts, tax compliance and management information prepared by the wider team.
*Leading, mentoring and developing junior managers and accountants.
*Ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently, on time and to the highest technical standards.
*Supporting Partners with client strategy and complex advisory matters.
*Identifying opportunities to introduce additional services and strengthen existing client relationships.
*Playing an active role in networking and business development initiatives.
*Monitoring budgets, profitability and overall portfolio performance.
About YouYou’ll ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) with a strong background in UK accountancy practice and previous experience managing client portfolios.
You’ll also bring:
*Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
*Strong accounts and tax review experience.
*Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
*Commercial awareness with a genuine interest in business development.
