They support a broad range of SMEs, sole traders and owner-managed businesses, providing tailored accounting, tax and advisory services. Description
*Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
*Assist on audit assignments, supporting planning and fieldwork through to completion
*Prepare corporation tax and personal tax returns
*Support with bookkeeping and VAT returns where required
*Work closely with senior staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client work
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to queries and providing support
*Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial analysis
*Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and deadlines
*Support the development of internal processes and efficiencies
*Liaise with HMRC and other external stakeholders when required


Profile
*AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA or ACCA
*Experience within an accountancy practice environment
*Exposure to accounts preparation and tax work
*Some audit experience preferred but not essential
*Good understanding of UK accounting standards and compliance
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
*Motivated to progress and develop within practice
