OverviewWe’re supporting a well-established organisation within the manufacturing sector in appointing an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to support a key operational and programme-led function.
This is a highly visible, commercially focused role, partnering closely with senior technical and operational leadership. The position sits in a fast-paced, project-driven environment where finance is integral to driving performance, supporting decision-making and improving commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities*Strategic Business Partnering
*Act as a trusted finance lead to senior stakeholders across technical and operational teams
*Provide commercial insight, challenge assumptions and support key decisions
*Deliver scenario planning and financial modelling

*Programme & Project Finance
*Oversee financial performance across multiple programmes/projects
*Manage budgets, forecasts, risks and opportunities
*Ensure strong cost control and margin visibility

*Performance & Reporting
*Produce clear, insightful reporting for senior leadership
*Translate financial data into actionable recommendations
*Support board-level reporting where required

*Controls & Continuous Improvement
*Strengthen financial governance and reporting processes
*Improve financial visibility across non-finance teams
*Drive improvements in forecasting, planning and performance tracking

Candidate Profile*Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Finance role
*Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing non-finance teams
*Comfortable operating in a manufacturing or operationally complex environment
*Experience supporting project, programme or cost-focused environments
*Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability

*Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
