Looking for a permanent Credit Control role where you can genuinely build a long-term career rather than just move jobs?
I am exclusively recruiting for a permanent Credit Controller to join a growing Transactional Finance team within a well-established, international organisation.
This is a newly created permanent position offering the chance to join a business that has invested heavily in its people, culture, and career development over the last 2 years.
Why this opportunity stands out
For me, the biggest selling point is the culture.
The Transactional Finance function has undergone a huge transformation under an inspiring senior leader who has created a genuine people-first environment centered around collaboration, coaching, and development.
In fact, 6 of her 7 direct reports have already been promoted, demonstrating just how committed the business is to developing its people.
You will be joining a supportive, down-to-earth team where people genuinely enjoy coming to work, celebrate success together, and are encouraged to grow.
The Opportunity
This is a permanent, dedicated Credit Control position.
Unlike many transactional finance teams, Billing and Credit Control are separate functions, allowing you to focus purely on Credit Control and what you do best.
You will:
*Manage your own customer ledger.
*Build strong customer relationships.
*Maximise cash collection and reduce aged debt.
*Resolve customer queries.
*Work closely with internal stakeholders.
*Support cash flow.
*Contribute towards continuous improvements across the Credit Control function.
You will manage a varied ledger of approximately, giving you exposure to a broad range of customers, industries and challenges.
No 2 days are the same.
What They Are Looking For
This is not an entry-level opportunity.
They are looking for someone who has chosen Credit Control as their career and enjoys taking ownership of a ledger.
Ideally you will have:
*Previous Credit Control experience.
*Strong cash collection skills.
*Experience managing your own ledger.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Confidence dealing with customers and internal stakeholders.
*A proactive and self-motivated approach.
*ERP systems experience, with cash allocation experience being advantageous.
Just as importantly, they are looking for someone who will fit their culture. A positive attitude, good sense of humour and team-first mentality will go a long way.
Salary & Benefits
*£29,000 basic salary.
*Quarterly bonus scheme with realistic earning potential taking your package to £33,000+.
*Hybrid working (minimum 3 office days per week).
*25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
*5% employer pension contribution.
*Private healthcare.
*Free parking.
*Genuine career progression.
*Ongoing training and development, with potential CICM study support.
