Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Accountant to join a business undergoing an exciting finance transformation. This role will require the selected professional to be onsite in Leicester so please consider the location on application.

Key responsibilities:
*Support a major finance programme
*Improve and map end-to-end finance processes
*Lead finance testing and system validation
*Work closely with Finance, IT and operational stakeholders
*Strengthen financial controls and governance.
We’re looking for someone with:
* A broad accounting background (transactional finance through to GL)
* Finance transformation, project or systems implementation experience
* Strong process improvement and controls knowledge
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Salary
£350 - £380pd umbrella
