Location: Croydon
Salary: £32,000 to £36,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and well-established business in Croydon that is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their friendly finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:
*Processing and maintaining the Purchase Ledger
*Managing the Sales Ledger
*Posting and allocating cash receipts and payments
*Performing bank and account reconciliations
*Assisting with month-end finance processes
*Resolving invoice and payment queries
*Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage 50
*Providing general support to the finance department as required
About You:
*Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or similar role
*Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
*Experience with purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash posting, and reconciliations
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
