Do you enjoy meeting clients face-to-face, understanding their needs, and winning business against competitors?
We’re working with a leading national removals and storage provider looking to appoint a Sales Surveyor to join their growing team.
The Role
This is a field-based sales position where you’ll visit customers in their homes or businesses, assess their removal requirements, and provide tailored quotes.
You’ll play a key role in converting enquiries into booked business — combining consultative selling with accurate surveying.
Key Responsibilities
*Attend customer appointments (domestic, commercial & international moves)
*Conduct detailed surveys and create tailored removal plans
*Provide accurate quotations using internal systems
*Convert inbound leads into confirmed bookings
*Compete effectively against other providers to win business
*Proactively generate new opportunities and target accounts
*Manage relationships with new and existing customers
*Work closely with operations to ensure service delivery aligns with expectations
*Contribute to local sales strategy and branch growth
What We’re Looking For
Backgrounds we’re keen to see:
*Removals industry experience (ideal – especially if looking to step into surveying)
*OR strong field sales experience in a consultative, face-to-face environment
You’ll likely have:
*Experience quoting for work and closing deals
*A track record of working towards targets and KPIs
*Confidence presenting solutions in customers’ homes or businesses
*Strong negotiation and influencing skills
*Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
*Good IT skills (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
*A proactive and self-motivated approach
