Full job descriptionElevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well-established Sheffield-based manufacturer to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business specialising in high-performance alloys and precision machining, operating in a modern, clean, and highly automated environment.
Shift: Rotating Mornings and Afternoons
Location: Sheffield
Responsibilities:
*Operating within a high-tolerance machining cell (CNC turning and honing)
*Machining high-value, exotic alloy components
*Maintaining ownership of product quality
*Working to tight tolerances and production schedules
*Completing and maintaining required documentation
*Carrying out planned health & safety checks
*Maintaining high housekeeping standards
*Supporting wider team and undertaking additional duties as required
Requirements:
*Experience in small to medium batch CNC turning
*Ideally experienced with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controls
*Exposure to milling processes advantageous
*Experience working with exotic alloys beneficial (not essential)
*Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
*Able to work effectively in a team environment
*Flexible and adaptable approach
*Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
