Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Crawley, West Sussex

High end luxury goods provider, specialising in premium, bespoke door systems, serving high-end residential projects across London and the South East. Known for quality over cost cutting, they have built a strong reputation with architects, designers and specifiers, and is now on a genuine organic growth trajectory. This is a business investing in its finance function to match its ambitions.

The Role
This is an all round Management Accountant role for someone who wants to own the finance function end to end, not just process transactions within it. You’ll take responsibility for the monthly management accounts, manage the relationship with the external accountants who handle year end statutory accounts and tax, and become the go to person for financial information across the business.

Core Responsibilities
*Own the finance function day to day, including preparation of monthly management accounts
*Manage the relationship with external accountants for year end statutory accounts and tax compliance
*Take on transactional finance work as required
*Identify and lead process improvement initiatives, including automation of manual processes (e.g. OCR for invoice processing, Power BI reporting)
*Contribute to management discussions, providing commercial insight to support growth initiatives
*Build scalable finance processes that will support the business as it grows
What We’re Looking For
*AAT qualified (preferred over newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, to ensure strong practical, hands on experience)
*Proven all round management accounting experience, ideally in a smaller or scaling business where you’ve owned the function rather than been one of many
*Tech-savvy, with genuine enthusiasm for automating finance processes; exposure to tools like Power BI or OCR invoice processing is a strong plus
*Comfortable balancing hands-on transactional work with higher level strategic contribution
*Strong communicator, confident presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
*Looking for a long term role where you can grow with the business
