Digital DesignerLocation: Birmingham City Centre (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)
Salary: Up to £40,000

We’re partnering with a fast-growing consumer brand that’s looking for a creative Digital Designer to join their in-house marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys designing across multiple digital channels but is looking to specialise in email design and CRM communications. Email is one of the business’s most important marketing channels, so you’ll play a key role in creating engaging customer experiences that drive retention, conversion and long-term customer loyalty.
Working closely with the Brand and CRM teams, you’ll bring campaigns and customer journeys to life through thoughtful, high-performing creative.
The RoleAs Digital Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating visually engaging digital assets, with a particular focus on email design and CRM.
You’ll be involved in:
*Designing engaging email campaigns and automated customer journeys

*Creating responsive, mobile-first email templates

*Producing digital assets across CRM, web and paid media

*Working closely with Brand and Marketing teams to deliver campaign creative

*Maintaining a consistent brand identity across all digital touchpoints

*Developing reusable email templates and design components

*QA testing and optimising emails across devices and platforms

*Supporting A/B testing and continuously improving email performance through design

We’re looking for someone who can confidently explain the thinking behind their design decisions, using customer behaviour, email best practice and performance insights to influence how emails are structured and optimised. You should be able to articulate why you’ve chosen a particular layout, content hierarchy, CTA placement or creative approach, understanding how great design contributes to engagement, conversion and the overall customer journey-not just how it looks.
About YouYou’ll ideally have:
*Experience in a Digital Designer, Email Designer or CRM Designer role

*A strong portfolio showcasing digital and email design work

*Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

*Exposure to CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, Dotdigital, Mailchimp or similar

*A solid understanding of responsive email design and email best practice

*Strong attention to detail and excellent visual design skills

*Experience working within ecommerce, retail or consumer brands would be advantageous

*A collaborative approach and the confidence to contribute ideas in a fast-paced creative environment
