About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Water and Wastewater Capital Delivery team. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of our trunk main programme, supporting large-scale infrastructure projects designed to enhance long-term network resilience and protect the environment.
This is a critical leadership position responsible for the end-to-end delivery of trunk main works, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of trunk main delivery projects, ensuring performance against time, cost, quality, and safety objectives. You will coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams including design, planning, construction, commercial, commissioning, and stakeholder management functions.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Lead end-to-end delivery of trunk main projects
*Manage design, planning, construction, permitting, traffic management and commissioning
*Ensure delivery against time, cost, quality and safety targets
*Establish project governance and maintain programme baselines
*Drive risk, opportunity and change control
*Lead CDM compliance and Principal Contractor duties
*Oversee RAMS, permits, safe systems of work and behavioural safety
*Manage environmental compliance, pressure testing, chlorination, quality assurance and handover
*Coordinate stakeholders: highways authorities, councils, landowners, businesses and residents
*Support MEICA and civils design development, ensuring constructability and clash management
*Manage integrated programmes across design, permitting, procurement, construction and commissioning
*Oversee budgets, forecasting, subcontractor performance and commercial controls
About You
You will be an experienced Project Manager within the water, wastewater, utilities, or civil infrastructure sectors, with a strong track record of delivering large capital projects. You will be confident managing complex programmes with multiple interfaces and possess strong leadership, communication, and commercial skills.
Experience in trunk mains, pipeline delivery, or water infrastructure projects is highly desirable, along with knowledge of commissioning activities and CDM regulations.
