We are currently recruiting for a Primary Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant to join a proud, inclusive Blackpool Academy for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year.

The Details:
*Location: Blackpool
*Contract: Term-Time Only | Temporary (September 2026 - July 2027)
*Salary: £14.25 - £15.25 per hour (dependent on experience)
Flexible Roles to Suit Your Strengths:
The school has the flexibility to tailor this role to your specific strengths, offering either a standalone or hybrid position as an:
*Intervention Lead: Delivering targeted support to small groups to close attainment gaps in Maths and English.
*General Class TA: Providing high-quality, whole-class support, managing behaviour through emotional coaching, and fostering a calm, purposeful environment.
What We Are Looking For:
Please note: Proven experience working specifically within Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) is essential.
*Experience: A solid background as a KS2 TA in a primary school setting.
*Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum (specifically core literacy and numeracy).
*Nurturing Approach: The ability to act as an emotionally available adult who aligns with inclusive, trauma-informed values.
*Intervention Skills: Confidence in leading small groups and building children’s self-belief.
